OUR APPROACH

End-to-End Agricultural Value Chain Development

India's smallholder farmers — most cultivating less than 2 hectares — face systemic disadvantages: fragmented land, limited capital, weak bargaining power, and poor market access. FDRVC addresses this through collective action.

By organising farmers into Producer Companies and Cooperatives, we create the scale needed to access better inputs, negotiate fair prices, invest in processing, and build direct market relationships.

Our farm programs have demonstrated consistent income improvements for participating farmers within the first three years of FPO formation.

OUR INTERVENTIONS

How We Work

🌱

FPO Formation & Strengthening

Registering and capacitating Farmer Producer Organisations — from legal setup to governance, financial management, and business planning.

🏭

Processing & Value Addition

Supporting primary and secondary processing infrastructure — cleaning, grading, packaging — to move farmers up the value chain.

🛒

Market Linkages

Connecting FPOs with buyers including government procurement agencies (NAFED, FCI), retail chains, exporters, and e-commerce platforms.

💳

Financial Inclusion

Linking FPOs to banks, NABARD credit lines, working capital facilities, and crop insurance — reducing financial vulnerability.

📡

Digital Agriculture

Deploying digital tools for market price discovery, weather advisory, input procurement, and agri-extension services.

📚

Capacity Building

Training FPO board members, CEOs, and farmers in business management, quality standards, and sustainable agriculture practices.
