FDRVC is a designated Implementing Agency under the Government of India's 10K FPO Programme, supporting 755 Farmer Producer Organisations across 15 states and empowering more than 6.66 lakh farmers.
A Farmer Producer Organisation (FPO) is a legally registered entity formed by primary producers, i.e., farmers, milk producers, fishermen, weavers, rural artisans, craftsmen, etc.
FPOs enable small and marginal farmers to collectively leverage economies of scale, access markets, reduce costs, and increase their bargaining power in the agricultural value chain.
Through collective action, farmers can access better inputs, technology, credit, and market linkages while adding value to their produce through processing and branding.

The Foundation for Development of Rural Value Chains (FDRVC) is a designated Implementing Agency under the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare for the 10K FPO Programme.
